Happy New Year from Case Management of Michigan!

It seems that each year ends with a look back to the challenges and accomplishments of the past year, and given the current economic climate in Michigan we have certainly had many challenges.  Reductions in Medicaid and the General Fund have resulted in reduced services for our consumers, and lower reimbursement rates for service providers.  Yet, despite these challenges,  some are called to care for the most vulnerable citizens of our society.  They work hard, often go the extra mile, and get little thanks for their efforts.  So I would like to take a moment to thank our staff, the staff at the various Community Mental Health agencies, and especially the direct care staff of the group homes, and apartment programs that we work with.  Wishing you a happy and safe New Year!
