Specialized Programs:
Token Economy (Non-aversive)

Activities of daily living and independent work assignments are the principal behaviors that receive rewards. Residents accumulate rewards in the form of points. These points can be traded for store items and other privileges.
Vocational
Goal: To assess and develop the employment skills of each resident.
Great Lakes Regional Care provides a vocational team that implements a "work ordered day". Each resident is placed in a supervised work setting and evaluated for their baseline work skills. Competitive employment will be sought for each resident that is determined to be appropriate for such tasks.
